MT. LAUREL, NJ -- February 6, 1997 -- Creative Systems Programming Corporation, in conjunction with Productivity Solutions, Inc., announces the opening of their newest CompuServe forum, the OS/2 Central Developers ForumThis new forum is designed to provide support for the OS/2 Developer Community.

The OS/2 Central Developers Forum (GO OS2DF1) joins the OS/2 Central Forum, which opened late last year as part of the expanding OS/2 Community on CompuServe.

The OS/2 Central Developers Forum includes discussion and file download areas for the Workplace Shell, SOM, APIs (Base systems, Presentation Manager and Open32), multimedia, device drivers and development tools. It also includes sections for C and C++, REXX, Java and Java Beans and other languages as well as internationalization. Other areas on this forum include NetworksInternets and Intranets, Netscape plugins, speech enabling, debugging and developer marketing.

"OS/2 isn't dead!" said David Moskowitz, President of Productivity Solutions, Inc. "We want developers to know they aren't alone -- that there is a place to get peer help from the community of OS/2 developers on CompuServe."

"The OS/2 Central Developers Forum has been designed to fill a gap created by the departure of IBM's Software Developer Operations on CompuServe.", said Larry B. Finkelstein, president of Creative Systems Programming Corporation. "While we understand IBM's desire to provide developer services via the Internet, there is still a very active OS/2 development community on CompuServe that has been abandoned. We hope that by creating this new OS/2 development area, we can revitalize an interest in developing new new OS/2 applications."

Productivity Solutions, Inc., founded in 1984, is a privately held consulting firm that specializes in new and emerging technologies including connectivity (Internet and Intranets), Object-Oriented development (including Java), and 32-bit operating systems (NT, OS/2 and Unix).
