Today we are announcing the creation of OS/2 Central (GO OS2CENTRAL), the first of several new forums that we will launch over the next few months for the OS/2 Community on CompuServe.

The OS/2 Central Forum includes discussion areas for all aspects of the OS/2 Warp system. It covers topics ranging from tips and techniques for the new user just installing OS/2 Warp to advice for the small office/home office environment to latest advances for the corporate developers and users.

Special discussion areas have been established for Netscape Navigator and plug-ins, graphic tools, Internet/Intranet, Java/Javascript, Jobs/Contracts, mobile computing and Voicetype. OS/2 experts have been invited to help staff these discussion areas.

In addition to the OS/2 Central Forum, we will also create a new forum to provide support for the OS/2 Developers and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) on CompuServe. This will help to fill the void created by IBM's recent announcement that their OS/2 Developer Support Forum will be closed at the end of this year.
